Holland Village holds a very special place in my heart as it was the place of my growing up years from the time I was born. Some of my most beautiful childhood moments were forever etched in my memories.
In its earlier years, it was indeed a “kampong” (village).
My home at Lorong Liput was a communal-style zinc rooftop house with ten families. We all shared a kitchen, water point, bathroom and bucket-system toilet. In spite of the less-than-desirable living conditions, it was a close-knitted community.
Unfortunately for our community, our home had to be demolished to make way for new HDB development in the 1970s.
Over the past many decades, I have witnessed the drastic transformation of Holland V and the Holland Road neighbourhood.
In 2005, when I entered the real estate industry after spending 23 years as a church pastor, naturally Holland Village was my launching pad.
In my real estate career, I am blessed to have served a vast clientele base of Holland property residents and investors. Subsequently, many of them have become my personal friends. Above all, what is most heart-warming is re-establishing contacts with some of my old neighbours.
Once I was featured on The Straits Times because of my knowledge of the micro property trends and insights of Holland properties.
I truly enjoy introducing and showing people homes in the Holland area. To add value, I can enhance their home-seeking experience by peppering some personal stories along the way.
I look forward to hearing from you, both property owners and home-seekers. With my intimate knowledge of Holland Village, you certainly can count on my service with a special touch.
View What My Clients Are Saying
Houses in prime District 10 Holland Road neighbourhood are some of the most prestigious and sought-after in Singapore for both locals and expats.
Sixth Avenue, Holland Grove, Mount Sinai, Namly Road, Coronation Road, Greenleaf, Leedon Road, Belmont Road, Cornwall Gardens, Peirce Road, to name a few, are homes to many rich and famous.
Out of the 39 Good Class Bungalow (GCB), most of them are in the well-known residential District 10 of Holland/Bukit Timah areas.
Staying in the Holland area is all about lifestyle. Not only it’s far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but also one can enjoy good transportation network, amenities and nature. Furthermore, Holland Road area is very family-friendly, with its proximity to many schools.
